ยา PEP คืออะไร ยาเป๊ป หรือ ยา PEP ย่อมาจาก Post-exposure prophylaxis เป็นยาต้านไวรัสฉุกเฉิน เพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อ HIV หลังจากมีความเสี่ยงมาภายใน 72 ชั่วโมง ยาเป๊ปใช้เฉพาะเวลาจำเป็นเท่านั้น ไม่ควรนำมากินประจำเพื่อป้องกัน HIV และไม่ควรใช้ยาแทนการสวมถุงยางอนามัยเช่นกัน เว้นแต่จะมีความเสี่ยงตลอดก็ควรกินยา PrEP แทนจะดีกว่า ยา PEP เหมาะกับใครบ้าง 1. มีเพศสัมพันธ์กับคนที่มีเชื้อ HIV หรือไม่ทราบผลเลือด 2. มีการใช้เข็มฉีดยาร่วมกัน 3. ถูกข่มขืนกระทำชำเรา 4. บุคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่โดนเข็มตำ สัมผัสสารคัดหลั่ง ยา PEP ควรกินเมื่อไหร่ ควรรีบกินหลังจากสัมผัสความเสี่ยงมาภายใน 72 ชั่วโมง ยิ่งเริ่มกินเร็วเท่าไหร่ ยิ่งป้องกันมาก ยา PEP ต้องกินนานแค่ไหน ควรกินต่อเนื่องกันไป 28 วัน และต้องทำการตรวจเลือดซ้ำอีกครั้งหลังกินยาเป๊ป ยา PEP มีประสิทธิภาพมากแค่ไหน…
