HIV Treatment

Glove Clinic (Bangkok) also provides HIV medications and you can choose to be treated anonymously.  Our staffs are well-trained, experienced and friendly! Either you have just been diagnosed or you would like to continue the treatment with us, you are very welcome at our clinic.  We will make sure to take care of you both physically and mentally at our best.

WHAT TESTS SHOULD I GET BEFORE STARTING HIV TREATMENT?

1. CBC with CD4
2. HIV Viral load
3. Serum creatinine
4. ALT (SGPT) as a liver function evaluation
5. Urinalysis
6. Syphilis screening
7. Hepatitis B screening
8. Hepatitis C screening

In case you are already on medication and would like to continue treatment with us, please bring us your latest blood tests with you so we do not have to redo all of the tests.

WHAT OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY CD4 AND VIRAL LOAD CHECKED?

This varies from person to person.  However, we suggest our patients to get them checked every 3-6 months.

THERE ARE SO MANY BRANDS OF HIV MEDICATIONS, WHICH ONE SHOULD I GO WITH?

We recommend that you visit us for a consultation and our staff can help you choose the medications according to your situation and your budget.  Our HIV medication starts at 1650 THB per month.  We also have the latest HIV medication which contains Tenofovir alafenamide (TAF).

I’M A TRAVELLER AND I LOST MY MEDICATION.  CAN I GET MY HIV MEDICATION AT GLOVE CLINIC?

Yes, you can.  However, please call our staff (+66)92 414 9254 in order to make sure that we have the medication you need in our stock.  Please also bring your latest blood tests with you if you can.
